CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:   Project Superintendent


Seeking a Project Superintendent with a minimum 10 years’ experience in this position supervising projects up to $30M.  Project delivery includes Design-Build, Negotiated and Hard Bid for Higher Education, K-12, Hospitality, Healthcare, Senior Living, Idustrial and Historic Reuse projects. 


Typical duties & preferred qualifications:

  • Preconstruction as required
  • Collaborative turnover meetings with estimating & project management
  • Budget awareness & cost maintenance
  • Management of all jobsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Overall schedule monitoring
  • Coordinate 3-week look-ahead schedules
  • Weekly onsite subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Maintain a clean, orderly & safe site
  • Conduct weekly “Toolbox” safety meetings
  • Maintain jobsite filing system
  • Maintain record documents
  • Subcontract and purchase order awareness
  • RFI & submittal participation
  • Change order awareness
  • Risk management
  • Project closeout/Punch List
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
  • CPR & First Aid certification
  • Lead & asbestos awareness certification
  • Quality Control certification
  • Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; and Bluebeam Revu or Plan Grid
  • Mentoring of lesser-experienced employees/subordinates

  • Assistant Project Superintendent (optional as determined by the company)
  • Field Project Engineer (optional as determined by the company)
  • Procore Cloud-Based Construction Software (daily reports; time cards; drawing record maintenance; project photos; RFI’s; punch list)
  • Laptop, smart phone, tablet and other essential tools necessary to perform duties
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Company truck & gas card


Project Superintendents are the face of the company.  They are responsible for directing the daily activities on the jobsite, and understand the importance of maintaining productive relationships based on fairness and good business ethics with subcontractors, vendors, Architects/Engineers, Owners, building officials and company employees.  The Project Superintendent practices the team concept in working with the Project Manager.  They recognize the importance of and practice safety on a daily basis.
