Accordingly we are seeking Project Engineers who possesses a 2 or 4-year degree in Building Construction and/or has previous experience working as a Project Engineer.  Project delivery includes Design-Build, Negotiated and Hard Bid for Higher Education, K-12, Hospitality, Healthcare, Senior Living, Industrial and Historic Reuse projects.  Field experience is not required, however is recommended. 


Typical duties & qualifications:

  • Assist the Project Manager & project team
  • Collaborative turnover meetings with estimating
  • Budget monitoring and maintenance assistance 
  • Schedule monitoring and maintenance assistance
  • Subcontract and purchase order monitoring
  • RFI & submittal review coordination & distribution
  • Change order evaluation and monitoring
  • Risk management
  • Project closeout
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; and Bluebeam Revu 

Typical support & tools provided by the company:

  • Company management team
  • Project Admin Assistant (optional as determined by the company)
  • Accounting (job cost reports, etc. via Accubuild Software)
  • Procore Cloud-Based Construction Software
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Laptop or desktop, smart phone, tablet and other essential tools necessary to perform duties


The Project Engineer’s primary function is to assist the Project Manager and project team, and to grow with experience and lessons learned ultimately into the Project Manager role.  They understand the importance of maintaining productive relationships based on fairness and good business ethics with subcontractors, vendors, Architects/Engineers, Owners, building officials and company employees.  The Project Engineer assists and supports the Project Manager in providing the information necessary for the Project Superintendent to be successful in the field.
