Mechanical Superintendent – New Construction

ColonialWebb Contractors is seeking an experienced full-time Mechanical Superintendent for Commercial Construction projects. This position is directly responsible for the overall management of a ColonialWebb construction project and for ensuring that all services are performed in accordance with applicable contractual agreements and company budget objectives.  The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of Foremen, Mechanics and Helpers.

What we are looking for:

  1. Strong mechanical experience of at least 10 years, plus a minimum of 7 years as a supervisor
  2. Extensive experience handling personnel issues as well as planning and allocating manpower
  3. Technological acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  4. Compliance and knowledge of current BOCA Code, OSHA, and other government regulations
  5. Production management experience, including manufacturing and pre-fabrication activities
  6. Jobsite coordination and material management experience of equipment and supplies

Other requirements:

Candidates must have strong HVAC and plumbing trade knowledge as well as excellent mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills.  Only proven leaders with strong communication skills will be considered.
