Job Summary

The Generator Installation Technician is a motivated professional with the ability to interact with our customer base to perform and explain generator/electrical installations. This person will also have a passion for electrical knowledge and professional growth while offering a customer focused approach to communicating jobs and services. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience performing residential or commercial stand-by generator installation.


  • Perform new turnkey generator installations, electrical services, and small projects
  • Will be required to work with a fast-paced, structured team to complete installations and repairs with little to no onsite supervision
  • Will be required to work a flexible work schedule to include irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as the demand calls
  • Will be a member of our after hours, on call team
  • Mentor Apprentices while obtaining daily efficiencies


  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Ability to demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to help customers resolve issues
  • At least 2 yr of verifiable residential electrical/generator installation experience
  • Must have a wide variety of electrical hand tools
  • Show a desire and willingness to learn and use new technologies
  • Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the position (lift and carry 50lbs, crawl, climb ladders, kneel/stoop down, bend, etc)
